LARIMER COUNTY, Colo. -- More than five dozen firefighters are still working on hot spots in the Bobcat Power Line Fire near Loveland.
The fire, which was reported to be 100 percent contained Friday shortly after 3 p.m., was first reported Thursday at 4 p.m. northwest of the Bobcat Ridge Natural Area.
"Strong, erratic winds and remote access issues made the fire attack difficult last night, but conditions today have greatly improved," the City of Loveland said Friday. "No structures have been threatened, and no injuries have been reported."
The fire has burned 189 acres of rugged terrain.
The origin and cause of the fire are under investigation.
No evacuation notices have been issued.
Multiple agencies have been working together on the fire, including Loveland Fire Rescue Authority, Larimer County Emergency Services, Larimer County Sheriff’s Office, US Forest Service, Colorado Division of Fire Prevention and Control, Fort Collins Open Space Rangers, Berthoud Fire Protection District, Estes Valley Fire Protection District, Glen Haven Fire Area Department, Poudre Fire Authority, Rist Canyon Fire Department, Wellington Fire Protection District, and WindsorSeverance Fire Rescue.
