Two suspects in a Wisconsin shooting who allegedly held people hostage, prompting police to evacuate nearby homes and businesses on Saturday have been taken into custody. The victim in that hostage situation has been taken to the hospital.
Neenah Police Chief Kevin Wilkinson said during a press conference the hostage situation is over, and the public is no longer in danger.
Police in the town of Neenah, about 100 miles northeast of Madison, Wisconsin, were responding to the Eagle Nation Cycles shop and asking people nearby to stay away from windows and to move to the basement, if possible.
Anyone in the immediate area, we ask that you shelter in place unless told otherwise by officers.
