Baby born on Palindrome date at UCHealth in Loveland

Posted

LOVELAND, Colo. – Luciana Castillo won’t ever forget the exact moment she was born at UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland – even if she was never able to form a memory of the event herself.

That’s because Castillo wasn’t just born on Palindrome Day this year – she went even further and carried the sequence of numbers to the time of her arrival into this world.

Hospital officials said Castillo was born at 18:18 hours (times of birth are always recorded in military time) on Aug. 18, 2018.

That’s 18:18 on 8/18/18 – a lot of eights, no doubt. The kicker? Castillo has an older sister that is 8-years-old, according to hospital staff.

“She cooperated quite well,” said Erica Crespin, the baby’s mother, about her newborn daughter’s impeccable timing.

Palindrome Week ends this Sunday.
