COSTILLA COUNTY, Colo. -- A snow emergency has been declared in Costilla County because of heavy snow and high winds.
Officials wrote on Twitter, that anyone stuck in the snow that has a safety concern should call 719-480-8719 for help.

The Costilla County Office Of Emergency Management told Denver7 they haven't received any calls for help yet, but search and rescue is available.
A warming shelter has been set up for Costilla County residents at the Fort Garland Community Center. The Red Cross is posting updates here.
The Centennial School District cancelled classes on Tuesday and Wednesday, but planned to have classes on Thursday.
