PUEBLO, Colo. -- A woman at a convenience store was grabbed by the neck by an armed robber in Pueblo on Tuesday.

Pueblo Police said the robber held the woman at gunpoint at the GoFer Convenience Store on Abriendo Avenue while demanding money from the store clerk.

Once the man got the money, he let the woman go and fled on foot, police said.

The woman was not hurt.

Police said the suspect is described as a dirty, heavy-set black man. He is about 6’ tall with dreadlocks or braided hair. The man was wearing a black and grey jacket with an Oakland Raiders logo on the back.

"He is believed to live in the area as witnesses reported seeing him wandering the area in the recent past," Pueblo Police said.
