PARKER, Colo. – Libertarian presidential candidate Gary Johnson will hold a rally Monday evening at the CU South Denver campus.
Johnson will rally at the Great Hall at CU South Denver, located at 1003 Peoria Street in Parker, at 7 p.m. Oct. 3.
Though he has recently been lambasted for gaffes in which he apparently forgot where Aleppo was and then failed to name a world leader he respects, a Public Policy Polling survey released Thursday shows Johnson getting 6 percent of the vote in Colorado in a four-way race.
But an August poll by NBC News/Wall Street Journal/Marist showed the former New Mexico governor garnering 15 percent approval of Colorado’s registered voters.
Former Colorado state representative Kathleen Curry is the only major state politician to have endorsed Johnson.
Johnson’s visit comes the same day Republican candidate Donald Trump will visit Colorado, as he heads to Pueblo and Loveland.
