DENVER -- To understand her passion for health care, you need to understand where Colorado's new Lieutenant Governor Dianne Primavera was 30 years ago. Recently diagnosed with cancer, she lost her job and her health care coverage.
Now, in addition to being Lieutenant Governor, she's heading Colorado's new Office of Saving People Money on Health Care. She sits down to discuss her journey with Anne Trujillo on this weekend's Politics Unplugged.
Politics Unplugged airs Sundays at 4:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Denver7 and noon on K3-KCDO.
