DENVER – The #MeToo movement has had many people talking this year, and Miss Colorado Ellery Jones wants to keep that conversation going on college campuses.

The Kent Denver grad recently graduated from Harvard where she says she was assaulted during her sophomore year.  She says talking about the experience made a big difference in her life.

Now, she is organizing and promoting a series of workshops on college campuses called #WeNeedToTalk where students can have an open dialogue on the topic.

Jones sits down with Anne Trujillo to talk about her efforts on this weekend’s Politics Unplugged.

Politics Unplugged airs Sundays at 4:30 a.m. and 4 p.m/ on Denver7 as well as noon on K3-KCDO.
