DENVER -- There's a renewed push to include third-party candidates in the upcoming presidential debates.
Topping the list of potential candidates are the Libertarian party's Gary Johnson and the Green party's Jill Stein.
On this week's Politics Unplugged, KNUS radio talk show host Krist Kafer told Anne Trujillo she thinks at least Johnson would be a good addition.
"Gary Johnson is kind of a lackluster Libertarian," Kafer said. "But I would still like to see a Libertarian on the stage. Donald Trump is a big government conservative, an authoritarian model. I would love to see a Libertarian up there talking about smaller government, less government."
Kafer and Trujillo also discussed the performances of Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump in a recent national security forum.
