DENVER -- Susana Cordova's tenure as superintendent of Denver Public Schools started with a teacher strike. After making changes that will allow the district to give larger raises to teachers and make other changes, Cordova is looking forward to the start of the new school year in a few weeks.
The superintendent sits down with Anne Trujillo on this weekend's Politics Unplugged to discuss what will be different for teachers and students in the coming weeks.
Politics Unplugged airs Sundays at 4:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Denver7 and noon on K3-KCDO.
