DENVER — The old Lowry Air Force Base has undergone a decade's long transformation with new single-family homes, townhomes and apartments. Now, a new shopping center is preparing to open.

Recent activity near Lowry's latest mixed-use development, The Exchange at Boulevard One, has neighbors curious about the latest retail and restaurant options coming to Lowry.

Confluent Development and Kelmore Development, the developers in charge of the project, recently announced a small-format 30,000 square foot Target will be the anchor tenant for Boulevard One. SCL Health, Sushi Ronin, MOD Pizza, YogaSix and Logan House Coffee also plan on opening locations there.

"We love the location," said Brooks Gagstetter, Logan House Coffee co-owner. "There isn't much nearby, but you've got to go to Cherry Creek or you've got to go out to Colfax to get anything even close to the quality that's going to come in here."

The Exchange at Boulevard One is scheduled to open for people to shop, eat and grab coffees in the spring of 2021.
