The Hill Campus of Arts and Sciences middle school in Denver was temporarily placed on lockdown Thursday.

Will Jones with Denver Police Department said school officials got a report of a student on the campus with a weapon. The school was put on lockdown at 12:47 p.m..
Law enforcement officials responded and removed the student from the school without incident. The lockdown was lifted at 12:55 p.m.
