Missing Turquoise Lake skiers found; Adult treated for hypothermia has died

LAKE COUNTY, Colo. -- A search and rescue team located two missing skiers, an adult and a juvenile male, Thursday afternoon.

The adult -- who was being treated for hypothermia -- did not survive, according to an official with the Lake County Office of Emergency Management.

The victim has been identified as Brett Beasley, 47, of Salida. The boy appeared to have been uninjured.

Lake County officials said the skiers were found near Uncle Bud's Hut near Turquoise Lake. They had been missing since Wednesday.
