VAIL, Colo. -- The Four Seasons Resort and Residences in Vail has been sold for $121 million, according to CBRE Hotels.
The hotel has 121 hotel guestrooms, 13 condominiums used as hotel inventory, a 14,935-square foot five-star spa, 7,000-square-feet of meeting space, 22 dorm units for employees and high-end restaurants, according to CBRE.
"The Four Season’s world-class service, luxury finishes, and robust amenity package position the hotel as a marquee and irreplaceable asset," said Mark Darrington, senior vice president with CRBE Hotels.
The buyer is the New York-based Extell Development Company.
CRBE officials told Denver7 Extell owns several hotels in NYC and Boston, but this is the company’s first Western U.S. purchase.
The Four Seasons Resort and Residences is in Vail Village. It was built in 2010.
The Four Seasons management contract runs through 2025.
The Four Seasons Vail has a Four-Diamond Rating from AAA.
