DENVER — A widespread Xcel Energy outage which affected more than 16,000 customers in southeast Denver has been resolved, a spokesperson for the company said early Monday afternoon.
Mid-day Monday, roughly 12,100 customers were without power, according to Xcel Energy's outage map. The outage began around 9:30 a.m. Shortly before 1:30 p.m., however, the company spokesperson said in an update that more than 16,000 customers were affected by the outage, which stemmed from a rollover crash along the 8400 block of E. Hampden Avenue.
It's not clear if anybody was injured in the crash.
