DENVER -- In 1988, now-Gov. John Hickenlooper and some friends opened Denver’s first craft brewpub, the Wynkoop Brewing Company, which helped kick off the movement to revitalize the area. The brewery is still going strong and brewing some of the most interesting beers in Colorado, including the Rocky Mountain Oyster Stout.
