A woman picking up cans near Willis Case Golf Course made a disturbing discovery on Tuesday -- she found the body of a woman.
The Adams County Sheriff's Office said the woman's body was found in a wooded area, in some water, near 53rd Avenue and Tennyson Street.
Investigators said it appeared the victim had been there awhile, so they couldn't immediately tell the possible cause of her death.
The investigation is just beginning to determine what happened to her and who she is.
