THORNTON, Colo. — A woman was killed when her SUV rolled on Interstate 25 at 136th Avenue early Monday morning, police said.
The crash was reported around 4:03 a.m. Monday and closed the ramp from 136th Avenue to northbound I-25, according to Officer Jesus Mendez with the Thornton Police Department. The red Ford Explorer had rolled over, he said, but the cause of the crash is under investigation.
The investigation is also blocking one lane of northbound I-25 in that area.
"We don't have a cause at this time," Mendez said.
Nobody else was in the vehicle or injured, he said.
Denver7's traffic reporter Jayson Luber recommends using Washington or Huron to 144th Avenue, then continue north on I-25. The express lanes in this area aree available to use.
