DENVER — A diner-style breakfast chain in Denver has temporarily closed its doors after a customer filmed two mice under a table.
On Aug. 18 at 12:30 a.m. a woman and her boyfriend visited the Denny’s located at 1605 Federal Blvd. and spotted two mice under a table. She filmed the rodents for more than a minute.
Denny’s issued the following statement to Denver7 in regard to the video: “At Denny’s, we take pride in providing a welcoming and comfortable dining environment for all of our guests and unfortunately the restaurant located at 1605 NW Federal Boulevard in Denver did not live up to our quality promise. We’ve taken immediate action to ensure that the restaurant meets our high standards, including closing the restaurant to clean and sanitize all areas and having our pest control company fully inspect and treat the restaurant to make sure this does not happen again. We sincerely apologize to our patrons.”
It is unclear when the restaurant will reopen.
