WHEAT RIDGE, Colo. — Police in Wheat Ridge were asking the community to help them identify a boy who was critically injured in a vehicle collision Sunday night.
Around 9 p.m., the boy was walking near 11001 W. I-70 Frontage Rd., near the Medved Chevrolet dealership, when he was struck by a vehicle.
The vehicle involved in the collision stayed at the scene.
The boy was listed in critical condition at a nearby hospital, and police were unable to identify him.
The juvenile is described as a white or Hispanic male between the ages of 11 to 13 years old.
He has brown eyes, green and brown hair and is approximately 5’8” tall and weighs around 200-250 pounds.
He was wearing black sweatpants and black shoes at the time of the collision. He has painted green toenails and the words “King” as well as hearts on his left wrist.
