DENVER – Want a familiar voice to welcome you home or send you off on your next flight into or out of Denver? It’s time to cast your votes for Denver7’s Anne Trujillo and Mike Nelson to be the next voices of the terminal train at Denver International Airport!

Anne and Mike are among the 10 finalists to be the next “Train Call” personalities at DIA—the voices you hear each time you get on and off the airport’s terminal train. The judging panel of experts must have thought highly of the two, as it narrowed the list of nominees down from 60.

Anne Trujillo has been serving the community for more than 30 years as both a public broadcaster and volunteer. The Colorado native is on the boards of several non-profit organizations and serves as an emcee for local public events. Anne is an Emmy award-winning broadcast journalist who currently is the Co-President of the Colorado Chapter of the National Association of Hispanic Journalists.

Mike Nelson has been serving the Denver area since 1991 and made his way to Denver7 in 2004. The broadcast veteran has been a Chief Meteorologist longer than anyone in Denver television history. Ranging from school visits to community events, Nelson is heavily involved in educating the public about the importance of weather and the impacts it has on our environment.

The previous personalities held the job down for more than 10 years, so cast your votes wisely!
