Denver-based Decatur rocked out to a packed house at the Black Shirt Brewing Co. patio in RiNo. The show was followed with more good news as it was announced that the alternative folk rockers will be playing Denver’s Underground Music Showcase on Friday, July 27, 2018.
Since 2017, Decatur has become a beloved member of the Denver music scene, packing venues such as Globe Hall, Herman’s Hideaway, Lost Lake, Ophelia’s Electric Soapbox, Streets of London Pub, The Hornet, The Toad Tavern, The Walnut Room and Your Mom’s House.
In addition to UMS (July 27-29, 2018), the guys are slated to play Lost Lake on Aug. 31 with The Trujillo Company, The Patient Zeros and Post Paradise. Tickets are $10 and available here.
Earlier in the year Decatur was named a “2018 Band to Watch” by 303 Magazine and received Westword’s 2018 Readers’ Choice for Best New Band.
The release of their latest single “Shake” was celebrated with an in-studio session at the CPR Open Air studio. The guys have also been featured by 303 Magazine, Alternative Addiction, Elicit Magazine, Greeblehaus, Channel 93.3’s Locals Only, Bolder Beat, Denver Thread, and The Prelude Press, as well as multiple prominent Spotify playlists such as Droplist and Hot New Songs 2018.
