CENTENNIAL, Colo. — Several tips to the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office led authorities to a man who allegedly stole a helmet from a Broncos player.
The suspect was identified Thursday as Vincente Baros, 33, of Arvada. Vincente was issued a summons.
The suspect allegedly stole the helmet following a July 31 practice. The player was signing autographs when the helmet was stolen in Arapahoe County.
Deputies say Vincente was seen on security footage passing the helmet off to his friend before leaving the practice facility together with family.
The helmet is valued at $400.
