BERTHOUD, Colo. — One person was transported to a hospital after a three-vehicle crash in Berthoud early Tuesday morning.
Highway 287 and W. County Road 8 in Berthoud closed after a crash involving a crane truck, SUV and pickup truck.
At 7:07 a.m., the Berthoud Fire Protection District (BFPD) responded to the crash.
The people inside the semi and SUV needed to be extricated from the vehicles, BFPD said. One person was transported to a local hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
For alternate routes, Colorado State Patrol out of Larimer County recommends that southbound drivers take Country Road 17 and northbound traffic take County Road 4.
