NORTHGLENN, Colo. – Police shot and killed a suspect during a confrontation in Northglenn early Wednesday.
Northglenn police said officers were trying to contact the driver of a stolen vehicle in the area of 104th Avenue and Franklin Way at about 3:30 a.m. when the driver sped toward officers.
The officers fired at the vehicle, killing one suspect and injuring another.
Neighbors in the area said they were awoken by the gunfire and one resident reported hearing five or six rapid shots.

Police have not identified either the suspects or the officers who fired their weapons.
