THORNTON, Colo. A suspect was wounded by a police officer at the Creekside Place Apartments late Saturday.
Officers responded to a disturbance with shots fired in the area of Gale Boulevard south of Thornton Parkway around 6:15 p.m.
Police tweeted around 7 p.m. that they were investigating a disturbance and an officer-involved shooting.
The officer was not injured, according to the tweet.
