DENVER — Denver police arrested a suspect in connection with two separate homicides this week.
Andrew Mutch, 34, was arrested on Wednesday night after detectives identified him as the suspect, the Denver Police Department announced Thursday morning. He is being held on two counts of investigation of first-degree murder. The Denver District Attorney’s Office will determine formal charges.
On both Tuesday and Wednesday morning, Denver police said its officers responded to the area of Washington Street and Interstate 70 for two separate death investigations. In each case, a man had died. Investigators determined that both were homicides and were connected.
The victims have not been identified. Their cause of death is under investigation.
The arrest affidavit for Mutch is sealed as of now.
