DENVER — Southwest Airlines is experiencing issues with their computers causing problems for some flights in Denver. The problem continued into Tuesday.
The FAA issued a temporary nationwide ground stop at the request of Southwest Airlines Tuesday, but shortly after, the ground stop was lifted.
Denver International Airport said Tuesday afternoon most Southwest flights were canceled for the day.

As of Tuesday evening, it was unclear if the issue had been resolved.
Monday night, a spokesperson for DIA confirmed four flights were impacted locally by the computer issues, which resulted in flight departure and arrival delays.
Responding to multiple questions and complaints on Twitter, Southwest Airlines confirmed it was experiencing a system error.
In a statement, Southwest said it was beginning to resume flight operations as of 10 p.m. Monday. However, DIA tweeted Tuesday morning that Southwest was still experiencing network connectivity issues.
The airline said its third-party weather data provider experienced intermittent performance issues Monday evening, which prevented the transmission of weather information. That information is required to safely operate its aircraft, Southwest said.
Southwest implemented a group stop to protect crew and customer safety as the vendor worked to restore connectivity Monday night.
