Monday's snowstorm dropped as much as 16 inches of snow along the northern Front Range and between to 4 and 5 inches around Denver.
Freezing rain turned to snow Monday and accumulation began in the evening hours. By Tuesday morning, the snow had mostly stopped, but had left icy roads and sidewalks.

Tuesday will stay cool, but sunny enough to melt the accumulated snow. Another storm will move in Wednesday, bringing light snow in the afternoon. This shouldn't bring much new accumulation.
