DENVER -- Good morning. Here are 5 Things to Know for Wednesday, May 30.

1. Roseanne blames Ambien for racist tweets
"guys I did something unforgiveable so do not defend me. It was 2 in the morning and I was ambien tweeting-it was memorial day too-i went 2 far & do not want it defeneded-it was egregious Indefensible. I made a mistake I wish I hadn't but...don't defend it please. ty," Barr tweeted Tuesday evening, referring to comments that got her show canceled.

2. Maria death toll may be much higher
While officials in Puerto Rico placed the official death toll from last year's Hurricane Maria at 64, researchers from Harvard believe the death toll was actually about 4,645. 

3. DU reveals campus changes
The University of Denver is expected to reveal significant campus changes Wednesday.

4. Governor to sign more bills
Governor John Hickenlooper will sign more bills Wednesday, including a bill that gives foreign nationals a break on tuition and a bill allocating money from marijuana sales to school construction.

5. Warmer weather returns
Warmer weather will return to Colorado for the next couple of days.  Highs will reach the upper 70s to low 80s on Wednesday, with again a chance for scattered thunderstorms in the mid-to late afternoon.
