DENVER – Police were investigating a shooting outside of a King Soopers grocery store in south Denver on Sunday afternoon.
Police confirmed that one person was taken to a hospital with a non-life threatening injury.
The shooting happened about 1 p.m., off South Clay Street and West Evans Avenue, where the King Soopers is located. Officers had placed crime-scene tape around a section of the parking lot, near the entrance to the store.
More information about the shooting was not immediately available.
