DENVER -- During a Denver Police response to a tip call about a potential person with a weapon in Denver, an officer fired off their service weapon.
Police responded to Third Street and Osage just after 12 p.m. on Monday to act on the tip. Officers say they're now investigating the officer-involved shooting.
Multiple people are reportedly in custody, including a suspect who first responders transported to a hospital for evaluation. That suspect reportedly did not suffer a gunshot wound, according to police.
The suspect who was transported had active warrants for his arrest, police said.
Police said they aren't sure whether or not they have more suspects or witnesses in custody.
This a developing situation. Denver7 will post more details as more is known.
