BOULDER, Colo. – A new film that aims to examine the JonBenet Ramsey murder from a new perspective premieres today on Netflix.
‘Casting JonBenet’ tells the story of the 6-year-old Boulder beauty queen’s death 20 years ago from the perspective of people who are auditioning for the roles of those involved in the case.
Local producer Mitch Dickman, who worked on the project, told Denver7 the film was a “unique” hybrid of documentary and fiction formats.
Netflix calls the film a “darkly moving exploration of crime, guilt and personal bias.”
The movie is available to watch now with a Netflix subscription.
