ADAMS COUNTY, Colo. – The Adams County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a mother who they say kidnapped her children Thursday.

Deputies say Shelina Martinez, 25, took her two kids from their great grandmother’s home in unincorporated Adams County. The children were placed into the custody of their great grandmother for an undisclosed reason.

Deputies say Maritinez drove to the great grandmother’s home in a Chevy Blazer-style SUV. There were two men in the car when she allegedly took off with her two boys.

An Amber Alert has not been issued.

Martinez is believed to still be in the Denver metro area. She is wanted for kidnapping and burglary.
