PUEBLO, Colo. — Surveillance video caught an armed masked man on camera as he demanded money from a bank in Pueblo.

The crime occurred at Academy Bank inside the Walmart Supercenter at 4200 Dillon Drive at 4:41 p.m. Tuesday. Police said he had a handgun. It is unclear how much money the suspect left the business with.

He left in a white pickup truck with stolen plates. Sgt. Franklyn Ortega said it was unclear if there was another person in the car. The car had been stolen in a carjacking in Colorado Springs, Ortega said.

The truck was found later that day near Aztec Drive and South Drive in Pueblo. The suspect jumped a fence and then got into a silver Kia with stolen plates. Police found items from the bank on the other side of the fence.

The suspect stands about 5 feet, 7 inches tall and has a thin build, police said.
