DENVER — A man was stabbed to death in southwest Denver early Sunday, police said.
Dominic Valdez, 36, was arrested on a second-degree murder charge in the incident, which happened in the 2100 block of Xavier Street, according to a police news release. Valdez and another man were in a disturbance that escalated into the stabbing, police said.
The victim, whose name has not been released, was taken to a hospital, where he died. Officers were at the scene investigating about 1:20 a.m.
More information about the stabbing was not available later Sunday.
