NORTHGLENN, Colo. — The Adams County Coroner released the identity Monday of the man killed on Interstate 25 last week.
Gabriel Danish, 27, of Northglenn, was struck and killed as he tried to run across the interstate in Northglenn Friday afternoon.
Northglenn Police say Danish was hit by an oncoming vehicle in the HOV lane and was pronounced dead at the scene.
It’s not clear why he was on the interstate. Police say alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash.
The incident caused traffic to back up in the area for several hours.
