AURORA, Colo. – A man died after he was ejected from his car during a single-vehicle crash Tuesday near the intersection of E. Calhoun Ave. and S. Ider Street.
Aurora police said they believe the man was driving westbound on E. Calhoun around 3 a.m. and did not stop at a stop sign at the intersection.
Police said the man’s vehicle hit an outcropping of large boulders on the west side of S. Ider Street and rolled over. The driver was ejected from his vehicle, as he was not wearing a seatbelt, police said.
The man died at the scene but has not been identified. Police said the crash is still under investigation and that it is not known whether alcohol contributed to the crash.
