SILVERTHORNE, Colo. — After months of opening announcements and growing anticipation, another potential Colorado location for California fast-food franchise In-N-Out Burger seemed to surface over the weekend, this time all the way over in Summit County.
The picture, of an official-looking sign just off Interstate 70 in Silverthorne, shows the words “Here Soon” next to the burger company’s logo. It even includes a phone number to call for inquiries.
Confirmed, Silverthorne is getting an in-n-out burger from r/Denver
“While the photo is real, it was a prank, as In-N-Out is not working on any prospective sites in Silverthorne,” Town Manager Ryan Hyland confirmed in an email to The Denver Post on Monday.
This isn’t the first time In-N-Out fanatics have planted somewhat convincing advertisements on random street corners or in vacant store windows, but the timing is especially deceiving.
