DILLON, Colo. — Tickets go on sale on Dec. 26 for the Ice Castles in Dillon, which officially opens to the public this Saturday.
Ice Castles is a frozen attraction — now in its third year in Dillon — created by professional ice artists who build structures using hundreds of thousands of icicles.
Every night during the event, once the sun dips behind the mountains, the castles glow with LED lights.
This family friendly attraction welcomes guests to enjoy frozen thrones, ice-carved tunnels, slides, fountains and more. Some of the castles can reach heights around 30 feet.
Construction of the castles began in late November. Saturday is its first day open this season.
Adult tickets cost between $17-$21 for general admission. For more information, including parking, FAQs and more on ticket pricing, visit the Ice Castles website here.
Those who purchased their tickets as part of the early bird promotion will have access to reserve their spot on Tuesday.
