Colorado State Patrol closed Interstate 70 in both directions at Georgetown just before 2:30 p.m. Friday after a tractor-trailer caught fire but had reopened some lanes by 3 p.m.
CSP said in a tweet that the tractor-trailer was fully engulfed in flames and that drivers should expect long delays in the area until and after the fire is extinguished.
By 3 p.m., the westbound lanes of the interstate were back open, as was one lane of eastbound traffic, CSP said.
WB lanes are now open. EB #1 lane is open.
