Family and friends remembered little Donny "Ro’mello" Romero Sunday - one day before what would have been his 3rd birthday.
Over a hundred people showed up at Sloan's Lake, holding balloons ready to wish the toddler a happy birthday.
After they walked around the park, they sang for the little boy happy birthday then released the colorful balloons into the sky.

Roman Morales, 21, is facing a first degree charge in his death. Morales is a friend of the child's mother and spent a lot of time at the home, according to Lakewood Police Department spokesman Steve Davis.
Sunday, Romero's father said he is humbled by the love and the support he’s received from the community - but the pain is still too fresh.
"I don’t hear him anymore saying to me come daddy, that hurts, that hurts all the time," said Dony Romero.
The family says they have almost raised enough money to cover the funeral expenses.
If you would like to help the family, go to their GoFundMe site.
The funeral is expected be this Saturday.
