More than two million Coloradans have already voted, but was your ballot accepted or rejected?
Voters can check their ballot status on the Colorado Secretary of State's website. Click on "find my registration," type in your voter information and click enter.
Scroll down the page and look for "mail ballot status."
It should list the 2016 General Election and your status should say accepted or rejected.
If it says rejected, it may be because you didn't sign your envelope, because the signature on your mail in ballot envelope didn't match what officials have on record, because you didn't include a requested form of ID or another reason.
Voters whose ballots are rejected will get a letter explaining why in the mail, according to Secretary of State Wayne Williams.
Williams told Denver7 that voters have until eight days after the election to fix the problem.
