DENVER — Marijuana enthusiasts may soon be able to try before they buy if a new Colorado bill introduced Monday becomes law.
House Bill 1258 would allow patrons to consume both medical and recreational products at some dispensaries.
Under the proposed bill, dispensaries would have to apply for a license in order to serve patrons, and only vapes or edibles could be consumed.
The language of the bill includes other restrictions, including limiting on-site consumption to 1 gram of concentrate or 3.5 grams of flower.
The bill is currently under consideration.
