The popular Hanging Lake Trail and parking lot in Glenwood Canyon will be closed to the public on Saturday.
Crews with Roaring Fork Outdoor Volunteers will be working on the trail Saturday.
The work includes installing new benches along the trail, improving the Spouting Rock Trail above the lake, completing other improvements on the main Hanging Lake Trail and erecting barriers to protect the delicate wetland between the lake and the falls.
“We could still use more volunteers on Saturday to help us continue to maintain and improve this world renowned
resource,” according to David Hamilton, Roaring Fork Outdoor Volunteer’s Director.
