DENVER – You can satisfy your sweet tooth for free today.
Haagen-Dazs is holding its annual ‘Free Cone Day’ event Tuesday, offering each customer one free ice cream cone from 4 to 8 p.m. at participating locations.
The company has two locations in the Denver metro area – one at Colorado Mills mall, which is closed Tuesday due to damage and flooding from Monday’s hail storm, and another at the Cherry Creek shopping center.
Haagen-Dazs is using Free Cone Day to draw attention to its efforts to help declining bee populations. The company says it has donated over a million dollars to research and education programs since 2008 and has improved bee habitat at its almond supplier’s farm.
