7:38 p.m.: The Red Elephant Hill Fire burning near Dumont is estimated to be 10 acres in size. Firefighters to continue fighting blaze until dusk, "when steep terrain, cliffs make scene unsafe," USFS says.

4:32 p.m.: United States Forest Service crews, engines and an aircraft are helping the Clear Creek County Sheriff's Office battle what they're calling the Red Elephant Hill Fire near Dumont off I-70. The three-acre fire is burning on private land in very steep terrain.

3:53 p.m.: There's a fire off I-70 near Dumont in Clear Creek County. We're working to learn more.
