7:32 p.m. — Denver police are investigating a shooting at 11th Ave. and Osage St. One person has been taken to a hospital with a gunshot wound; unclear what the person's condition is at this time. 11th Ave. is closed between Osage and Mariposa.

6:55 p.m. — Loveland Pass has closed due to a snow slide on the east side, the Colorado State Patrol - Golden division said in a tweet. The pass will remain closed overnight until CDOT can perform mitigation in the daylight.

8:24 a.m. — Denver police said both packages have been cleared by investigators. Officers are clearing the scene. Sonny Jackson with DPD said nothing dangerous was found in either of the two packages. They don't believe there was any malicious or ill-intent behind the packages, he said.

8:09 a.m. — Denver7 reporter Meghan Lopez at the scene of McGlone Academy said it appears to be calming down, as police officers are leaving and parents have been spotted walking into the school with their children. All staff have been allowed to return to the school. McGlone will start school at 9:15 a.m. There are no longer any closures around Farrell B. Howell Eco-8.

7:50 a.m. — Joyce Wright, a neighbor across the street from McGlone Academy, told Denver7 that she received a call from the school asking parents to not drop off children any earlier than 9:15 a.m. A call went out to parents from Sara Gibbs Goodall, the principal of McGlone Academy this morning. According to the call, Goodall said she is at the school with police. She said they will send a message if they are able to begin school any earlier, or if school will be canceled today.

7:37 a.m. — Denver police said they are now investigating two suspicious packages. One is outside McGlone Academy and the other is on the 14200 block of E. Albrook Drive. Police are putting up crime tape at Farrell B. Howell Eco-8. The schools are less than a mile from each other. Multiple roads in both locations are closed.

7:15 a.m. — There is a heavy police presence at McGlone Academy at 4500 Crown Boulevard in Denver. Alex Renteria with Denver Public Schools said the school is on lockout and parents should not drop off their children until they’re alerted it is OK to do so. She said there will likely be a delayed opening. A playground is taped off by the school. Streets in the area are closed. We're working to learn more.
