3:26 p.m.: Aurora police say nothing suspicious was found inside the Lotus School for Excellence and that school staff have asked students to return to class for a roll call before they can be released to their parents at the school. Police say there is no connection to the bomb threat at a school in Thornton.

3:20 p.m.: Thornton police say that Skyview Main Campus is safe and no threats to students were found after a sweep at the school and nearby

3:18 p.m.: Students at the Lotus School for Excellence were evacuated because of a bomb threat shortly after 3 p.m. Aurora police said they were "determining the credibility of the threat" at 3:14 p.m. Parents have been advised to pick up their children at Faith Presbyterian Church, located at 11373 E. Alameda Ave.

3:11 p.m.: Skyview Main Campus in Thornton was placed on lockdown around 3 p.m. after a report that a juvenile had a handgun in the area. Police were searching in the area for a possible suspect.

2:44 p.m.: Thornton police say a 13-year-old Shadow Ridge M.S. student has been arrested following today's bomb threat. Officers found bottles of clear fluid they later determined to be ethanol alcohol.

Noon — Shadow Ridge Middle School in Thornton is being evacuated due to bomb threat, according to Thornton police. A school search is being conducted now. Students can meet with parents at 1500 E. 128th Ave. We will update here as we learn more.
