4:17 p.m.: An Aurora police spokesperson says school officials placed Hinkley High School on lockout, not lockdown, as police initially reported. The spokesperson said all students have been released from school.
3:38 p.m.: Aurora police say there were no shots fired, no injuries reported and no gunman was located following initial reports there was someone with a gun in the area. Police will conduct a controlled release of students.
