5:27 p.m.: Police in Grand Junction need your help to find a missing 12-year-old girl at about 3 p.m. See the tweet below for more information:  

4:17 p.m.: An Aurora police spokesperson says school officials placed Hinkley High School on lockout, not lockdown, as police initially reported. The spokesperson said all students have been released from school. 

3:38 p.m.: Aurora police say there were no shots fired, no injuries reported and no gunman was located following initial reports there was someone with a gun in the area. Police will conduct a controlled release of students.  

2:28 p.m.: Hinkley High School is on lockdown as Aurora police investigate a report of someone with a gun in the area. There have been no reports of shots fired.

8:50 a.m.: 911 service has been restored.

6:44 a.m.: 911 service is currently down in Huerfano County; call the sheriff's office at 719-738-1044 if there's an emergency.
